Welcome to Mountain Empire Affiliated Hospitals! Mountain Empire Animal Hospital was established in October 1972 by Dr. Cassell and Dr. Scott, with Dr. Snodgrass joining in the practice in May 1973. We have constantly pursued a philosophy of general practice for large and small animal medicine and surgery.

Jonesborough Animal Hospital was established in 1980. Young's Animal Hospital was acquired in 1987. Jones Animal Hospital was acquired in 1987, and Sycamore Shoals Animal Hospital was established in 1989. At this time we maintain five small animal offices, one large animal office and seven ambulatory vehicles to make farm calls.
